OET TRAINING

( Occupational English Test training)

OET or Occupational English Test, is a well-acknowledged language test among most of the countries, mainly for the professionals in the medical healthcare sector. The OET, or Occupational English Test, is specially designed to demonstrate the English language skills of healthcare professionals, and it gauges their ability to communicate well in healthcare contexts. OET is accepted in many countries as proof of your proficiency in English and is accepted for visas, education, and work environments in healthcare

OET Eligibility

OET offers 12 versions of the test for different healthcare professions; nurses, doctors, dentists, pharmacists, optometrists, podiatrists, occupational therapists, vets, speech pathologists, dieticians, physiotherapists, and radiographers. The Reading and Listening sections are the same for both.

OET exam syllabus

Transorze Solutions follows the international syllabus for the OET Exam in the training centers, all across Kerala. OET exam syllabus consists of four assessment skill test, which is mentioned below-

OET Listening (approx. 45 mins) -To know if candidate can follow and understand

a range of health-related spoken materials such as patient consultations and lectures

OET Reading (60 mins) -To understand if students can read and understand different types of text on health-related subjects.

OET Writing (45 mins)-To write a letter in a clear and accurate way which is relevant for the

reader

OET Speaking (approx. 20 mins)-To effectively communicate in a real-life context through the use of role-plays

OET Speaking subtest is considered to be one of the hardest tests to take as you will be required to speak face-to-face with the examiner. However, it is not that tough to score a 350 or more on this test.

OET (Occupational English Test) is designed to meet the specific English language needs of the healthcare sector. It assesses the language proficiency of healthcare professionals who wish to practise in an English-speaking environment. All four language skills are assessed, with Writing and Speaking tests available in 12 different areas of healthcare. All candidates sit the same Reading and Listening tests.

OET is accepted as proof of English proficiency in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Namibia and Singapore for registration in 12 healthcare professions.

OET is owned by Cambridge Box hill Language Assessment Trust (CBLA). It is a venture between Cambridge English and Box Hill Institute.
